Excellent work, I see nothing wrong with your work. You have mastered likeness have excellent shading technique. You use light very well and have great tone, I would say if I were your teacher it would be time to move to colour either through the coloured pencil role or by watercolour. I say watercolour because it is the easest to learn Acrylic is just watercolur that dry quickly then you can't re-wet it and carry on painting. Oil for me is to slow and watercolour can be almost drawing, take this drawing it would be wonderful if coloured with paint. Everybody is slow to move it't not unlike riding a bike we move from a push along scotter then to a pushbike before we ride it we think I will never be able to do it. So come on I would say one painting in four drawings to start. Your first step should be to buy a set of watercolour pencils or a dark wash watercolour pencil. Why because they blend it with the paint and show very few construction lines. Brian.    :8)

Listen to Brian he see what I see you have exceptional talent and would do well with watercolor. Just try it you may be surprised with the results. If you are afraid to use the paint use colored pencils and buy lighter fluid it will make the wax in the pencil become almost fluid and it will blend and brighten up the color. I love doing that if you are interested in trying that I can give you more details!!!
