I never had used color pencils until about two months ago,and still need alot of practice, but i first draw the picture with a normal pencile then go over it with the colored ones.
oh, thanks alot. I have just recently started using colored penciles a couple of months ago.I was almost to embarrassed to put this one on here b/c i made here teeth look huge.
Really?I think it looks fine,she has a little overbite I think,it looks alot like her believe me..the Sharpies are great though are'nt they?10 years ago all we had to use was Crayola washable markers.
I bought those little mini Sharpies and their is alot of ink crammed in them,they are perfect.By the way GREAT effect on Edward Cullens eyes with the glitter,it's very effective...contrast well !
I have the minis as well, I have always wanted to add glitter or sequins or some other kind of shiny element to my art, so I tried it on edward's eyes.
It really works.I have two more pairs of shoes to paint with Edward and Bella but it is slow moving..I needed a break.The shoes were the first time I ever tried to paint either one of them and Pattinson has a difficult likeness to do.I still don't feel I captured him.They have this very reasonably priced acrylic paint called GEMS from Folkart,available at most craft stores,it brushes on with a real glittery effect.You should check it out.I pick mine up at WalMart for a buck.I don't know what to use it on though.
yeah I'll have to check it out. I have recently started some art with hole punch dots, like collecting colors from magazines and such, hole puch them and then place them one by one on a paper to create a picture, but it take days for a small pic, the out come is worth it though b/c it looks textured and absract.
Now that is a great idea,very abstract....I always wanted to break eggshells and create a mosaic,have you seen Roses work here?She does moaic with stone.That sounds great,are you gonna share here?
I would post them, but all the ones I have done so far are not of celebs, the are things likes sunsets, animals and i have also done a few lampshades that way. but maybe ill try a celeb someone real iconic like marilyn so it will be easier to tell who it is
That would be great!You cannot lose with Marilyn Monroe.I know there is 1000s of Marilyn and Johnny Depp portraits here but you cannot lose with the likes of them.
Ill try one I cant wait to see how your other shoes turn out, I would love to do something like that, but im not very good with paints at least not yet.
Oh good!Thank you.I need to get cracking at them,right now I am finishing another bag with Jack Sparrow.He should be here within a few hours at the least.It's funny but true I got the reference for the Twilight shoes from Sweethearts candy boxes,so next I am gonna try to reference directly from the film.
Krystal I gave you an add to my faves,you got great potential with this superb Twilight art(maybe a character like Beetlejuice someday?),I wanna see more,this Sharpie art has me intrigued!
