Thanks Chantal this is back lit from the right side I think I did okay with it . I am having a little trouble with eyes in the three quarter view. Her eye on the left side may be a tad larger that it should be. Oh well maybe since it is suppposed to be in the shadow.
Thanks Bea still fighting with values but that is part of the process I guess. Thanks for your support dear friend love your work and hope to aspire to your level someday!!
Thanks it is a journey and I am having great fun trying to improve the technique. I guess we will never reach the ultimate. But we can have fun and a challenge along the way good to know you and share with you Bea!!!

a thousand times thank you my sweet and dear friend Christine, I too adore you and Jeanette, too, am very happy to have you met every two .... I embrace you very very very soft and my great friend Christine adored
thanks Jeanette I see flaws in it though or maybe the scanner brought the picture together wrong again. I will study the original again I may be too critical but I think the eye on the left looks slightly off.
Thanks Rick I hope to continue to improve. I need to be more like you and take my time with these. I am a production factory worker been doing that for thirty years and beat the clock is a way of life in that line. I guess that carries over into my habit of working fast and furious. Oh well having five kids didn't help either. One good thing though is that when someone wants to sit for a portrait I can finish before they are ready to fall asleep (Sometimes!!)
Well it is getting closer May 19 Chicago Il Divo concert. Can't wait. My sister Marge is going to three more concerts after that. She just attended one in Canada she says it was the best. She has been to one other in Canada and one in Puerto Rico. The others will all be in Chicago and she is doing a meet and great too. So she is really enjoying life at her age of 72.
One of my favorites almost reminds me of an angelic version of Lydia Mertz from Beetlejuice, without the dark look to her, very sweet and very pretty Chris!
I guess I haven't seen Beetlejuice but I heard that it was really funny, in kind of a dark goofy way. I liked Winona in Little women so I guess I go for the old traditional kind of classic things. I also liked Anne Hathaway in Becoming Jane so I am a little bit of a stuffed shirt when it comes to movies.
There is one more I forgot to mension Shakesphear In Love it is really good and a little more classical in content of course there is also Jane Eyre too with the great George C. Scott and finally Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reve and that beautiful Jane Seymour did you know she is the baby on the Gerber food baby jars. Her father entered her picture and she won the contest long ago for Gerber Baby food company. So she had been famous longer than most people would know.
No I did'nt ,wow! That figures like Liz Taylor she was a beautiful child too.I am being told that she has twin sons named after Chris Reeves and Johnny Cash, thats nice,we know how she met Christopher,I bet she met Cash on Dr.Quinn Medicine Woman.
No you're of a dignified taste wich is good, some of the awful movies out today, ypou like meaningful film.I get lost in my imagination with fantasy film I suppose.
Oh I liked the Hobbit speaking of fantacy and I also liked A Man Called Horse kind of an adventure and I love Indians so that qualified too. Thanks Chris it is so good to know you!!!
Oh just a joke I ment E.S.P extra sensory perception but that piss thing is just a joke my kids tease me about when they don't want mom to know they have been up to no good!!!!! Now you know the rest of the story!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by I just posted a new piece it is totally different from my usual stuff. It was done with oil pastels and some colored pencil. It should be up here soon.
when I would meet you "christine" in one day.. or in one night.. I would tell you how I drew your presense in my heart like a beautiful flower..
