I am leafing through this Rock magazine, in search of a photo of the next great drummer I wanted to draw, when suddenly a cool Marilyn Manson photo crosses my eyes' way; it seems to ask me, 'Draw me! Now!' So I did it immediately, and with no sketching; for that reason, it's probably my fastest job; took about one hour. It's also my first drawing with dry pastels
MARVELOUS drawing my friend Paulo pose .. very original, I love it, you already have many talents, you are very creative, it shows. Superbly well designed, very good job, congratulations, a thousand tender kisses my friend Paulo
you missed me a lot Paulo, I was sick, you deserve all these compliments widely, both by your immense talent and true and your extreme kindness, yet all my congratulations for your wonderful portrait, a thousand tender kisses my friend Paulo
There's some of them in my gallery (majority I did 15, 20 years ago), and you left a comment to one of them, don't ya remember? But it's all with oil pastels; this one is my first with dry pastels, a bit different technique... Col. pencil, pastels, you?... Just having a look at your gallery I have no doubt... Come on, of course you can, Rick! Start now, pal!! Seriously, I'm looking forward your first one, valeu?...
Well, not exactly a creation, my friend Biggs, actually these crazy colors came from the photo... Let's say I re-created it with my dry pastels... Anyway, really glad you like it; thank you so much for saying it's well done, cause I did it directly, with no sketch, 2x bigger than the photo, in about 1 hour; so I think I passed the quick color drawing test!...
