Thank you, First I painted the face then the blur under tone then with a palette knife I dragged the white down the paper thick like oils it is more effective in real life.

Thank you, very easy to do once youve mastered the likeness thing. The painting is better than the scan the hair is layer white on blue to get texture it does not show on the scan. Iconic paintings that are original like this is my aim I don't mind being copied but I always want to be first with a look. Brian.
