Welcome, Excellent your first work. Alittle better on presentation but excellent. The things to get right with all drawing or painting is? how does it look, I you want your work to be seen then my best tip is big make the scan or photo fill the screen You may have to play with this for a while but the art teacher who said draw bigger were right. Your work has good hair, eyes, shadow, light and dark and all the buzz words a little darker back ground will make the eye stand out even more than it does now, this is a excellent part of your drawing. Please don't disapear into a Fan artist it can be so boring make your self draw others even if you hate them. Also this will help with emotion in your work. I have a great deal of knowledge as I'm old but I drew for 20 years before I painted one of the things people say amout my work is the likeness in them this is because I practiced at drawing so practice I still speed draw today and speed paint. I draw circles with a brush. You have Talent.
