OK, and now you're just 14??? I won't stop drawing when I see somebody else drawing better than me and younger than me, I'll do it now. OK, to be totally honest, I would have have to stop a long, long, long time ago but, anyway, you're damn good at drwing!!! Please, continue! You'll make me at the same time a little more depressed and a little more happy :D

Honestly, I would not even dare to start such a drawing cause it's a difficult angle, you perfectly managed not to make appear the lines of her face, we can distinguish her smile without any problem thanks to the slight but subtile and perfect shadows you made and she has a so real look. congratulations and, if you have pieces of advice for me, I'll take them with pleasure!!!

Yeah, one of the things I learned from trail by error, was that I should only make the lines as light or dark as the surround environment. Either as dark as the back ground or as light as the skin, if they are to dark i just erase them when I don't need them anymore. I'm not so good on giving advice to people, it makes me feel awkward since i'm so much younger then mostly everybody, and to the kids who are younger, i feel like i'm patronizing them, lol. :/

Sherry, What a wonderful portrait for an artist so young. I just noticed that your "favorite artists" are the very same as mine! So, we definately have something in common. My first observation of your Ellen Page portrait was that, perhaps, it would even be better if the head and hair were completed.
