Very very good, for a first time watercolur. I can tell it's a photo phone, they do nothing for watercolour, mine only look as good, because I use a scanner. Brian, brainfree.
It is very good and I am glad you use my portrait as a template. I have a little advise for you not so much about the joker or your work, but about art in general. These are just my views and I'm not a school type teacher But a person trying to encourage watercolour portrait painting. The most important thing in the way my work is seen is that I do my best to present it in it's best light, literally. I use a scanner not a photo as mobile photo’s are poor or even camera photo’s can be less than they should be remember one thing white paper and detail on it reflects back at the camera lens decreasing the light to blur or white If you want detail to show then it’s a scanner. If you wish to take better photo’s switch off flash light and use ordinary light or lamp light softer but brighter. I hope this will help, Frenchman Edgar Degas. he said 'art is not what you see, but what you make others see'! It was wonderful advise made before cameras and photo technology.
