How do you get such sharp and bright photos of your black & white portraits?? This looks gray and the background is white. The photo doesn't do the portrait justice. Any advice would be appreciated. I placed John F. Kennedy on here in black & white but today I colored it to improve it & brighten it up. You'll see it on Saturday. Thanks Christine. :blowkiss: :blowkiss: :hug: :hug: :hi:

Send me your next black and white to lionfish with the photo and I will try to help define that work. I don't pormise anything but we can try anyway. If you don't like the result just scrap the copy.

Christine, I think I figured out why the photo comes out so gray. It's the sketchpad that I was using. The Bristol paper is much whiter and then the sketches will look brighter. Live and learn.
