I seriously think I should call this "dear scanner, why do you like to kill my drawings?" --' But anyway...

I don't have very much to say about this one. I start working on it right after finishing my last drawing.
Live it doesn't look so black, you actually can see shades on his shirt but anyway, I don't know how to improve my scans.
This time, dreadlocks weren't fun to draw. Not at all. They took me a long time and patience to do. I was going to work on a drawing of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow next but oh no, no way I'm going to draw dreadlocks again now. Maybe in a few weeks.
I think I'm going to draw a vampire for a contest next. At least I hope so. Wish me luck!

:guffaw: too funny!! I USED to use a scanner...now I use a digital camera and photo software to crop it. This is good and I hear you on the dreadlocks! I did that one too :grin:

well, I think no matter the technologie you use, drawings always look worse than in reality. I think it's amazing to see each detail of a drawing and watch how an artist did it... and yes, the dreadlocks --' I don't even want to think about it :D :D thanks a lot for the comment :blowkiss:

oh thanks, I'm glad you like it! :) I didn't like to draw the dreads because they took me a long time but I'm trying to make them realistic so I guess I need to practise even more :sweat: thanks :blowkiss:

Maybe the dreadlocks weren't good for you to draw but they look great ! :ok: I like it that your drawings are dark 'cause mine aren't :D The shades on the face are awesome, and the proportions are very good as well :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :blowkiss: Keep on, and of course good luck at the contest ! :blowkiss:
