I'm glad your happy I will do a few more but it's the idea that for me I'm working on. I'ts a lesson as well mind I like D. Mode as well but it means nothing when painting. Technique, Likeness, Originallity, Skill and that little bit of Magic that takes it from just either a photo reproduction to am emotional likeness. My ear is now nearly Ok, good enough not to stop me painting. Brian. Are you a Russian. :grin: :grin: :8)

Thank you, another Brit and Coventry where my son went to Uni many years ago. I like your gallery. Thanks for the 'great lighting' it is for me more about improving my techniques, than the person. Here a challenge to paint him different from the normal in my world of close up portraits, it tends to shows them in a non flattering way. Difficult with pencil but not impossible, I drew for many years and it gave me a great eye for likeness although, here I had to be very carefull not to lose it. Brian. I'm Welsh. :grin: :8)

Thank you Martin I've been away on Holiday for a week and then when I came back I had a ear infection which has made me ill for a week. This is why theres not new work till now! But I'm feeling great now and back painting like a demon. :grin: :thumbup: :8) :grin:
