Oh! thank you infinitely! I'm delighted with your nice comment I saw your blog; you have a wonderful style with a dreaming and exotic touch (as I feel it)
Thank you John!! I like modesty too, but my work is still far fom being excellent; however, I'm satisfied with it since I notice I'm progressing while comparing my old works to my new ones. I think progression is the most important. I like your drawings and your taste in colors. You're very talented
You're welcome! UR2! Excellent that is. And your newest Penelope is better than your first post. But some of your old stuff is very painterly and charming. And ... with gouache!! That (to me) is harder than ... Chinese arithmetic!
Oh! thank you I use gouache because I find it easily in every shop... I don't have much time to look for professional material, but I should try it one day! drawing is not my career but is very important to me
yes, but it dries too quickly, so it's hard to control color degrees while using it; this is why professionals prefer oil paints or watercolors. I hope my English is enough correct so that you can un derstand me
your English is admirable ... so that explains it - my gouache paintings looked like cut paper collages not fit for the 5th grade bulletin board! I did a little better later with tempera -
Thank you Johnny; We used to do some drawing activities using gouache when I was at school; then I continued to use it alone at home. This is why I got used to it, but actually it's a very hard medium. Continue to use techniques you overcome; talent and taste are the most important!
