i dedicate this one to Dorothea (Dorothakii)
she inspired me to do katy perry and i chose the same photo what she did , because i love her portrait of katy perry so much . She is amazing , we became friends and she is so talented

Very good, You love detail! I'm trying to get you over to the impressionist camp and your going realist on me. Leave a little to the viewer imagination. Here the left eye a little darker. Let me say your work is improving not at a fast pace but still improving so more light please? and don't get all upset I'm just a viewer with my own tastes. I'm just trying to make art easier for you, your style is wonderful I'm your greatest fan. I love the bright real colours your tonal work on the edges of the shoulder here is excellent all I'm saying is as a viewer let me see the marks in the fingers by you hinting they are there. The hair is wonderful also the lips you must spend hours drawing them. Also the eyes are close to perfect now! not to big but just right. Ok so for me a improvement would be more light or white paper in the face areas I know it will be difficult for you that's why I say you should put masking tape or fluid on the white areas. Great work and with more light your work would be wonderful. Brian

yes i love details , but i think i don't do my portraits so detailed as the others , because i just can't see so many details from my mobile phone and sometimes i do something by my own
i create things okay , i try , but i like to do photos like they are , so i know you have got different taste , but it's hard because if i change something then maybe you like my portraits but the others like them like they are now, it's hard for me to change it , because i think i have come a long way allready
lips didn't take hours , they took only five minutes or ten so you are very wrong i know what you try to say , but i can't do what you like , i respect you , but i don't enjoy art then ..
You must always please your self. I mean't no comment to stop you enjoying your art to me I think you have improved a great deal and brushed a new style for yourself but remember advise is only that not a request, as we are all artist and no one is in school.
i know you want me to improve and give me some advice , but i have done so many things allready , but about that light thing and details , i am sorry but i can't.
i like to do details and jeanette likes my portraits now , she gave me advice and i improved , but you ask me to do my portraits lighter again , i can't do that .. portraits with colored pencils are not the same like with watercolor .
i don't enjoy if i have to think if you think it's light or too dark or is there many or few details , i have my own style and i have done so many things what the others have told to me , but i think what you said , too much

I'm not asking you to do more coloured pencil work but to leave a little out on the face were the light wouuld fall all faces have light on them I'm just suggesting a way of you doing it it and easy way. All colur is the same wheter it's coloured pencils or paint. I'm not mad or upset I like your work it is very good. take no more notice I will leave this go now as I can see you have more of an issue than me if we wer nearer and I could show you you would see how easy my suggestions are. I will always like your style and work. Brian.

I think you right this is an excellent face tone both on the face and the next. We are at crossed understanding I'm not saying lighter I'm say clear or blank parts with no colur apart from the paper only in small areas no extra work Just a little thought before starting by placing masking tape over it this then stops you covering it antway I will leave it there now. I hope you can forgive my keeping on about it. Brian I still think it is Very good to excellent and I love your style.

Ok I think you speak great English and I like helping you understand more. I'm Welsh not English but I don't speak Welsh completly. I admire your spirit and drive but be a little more positive about yourself you are a talented artist and can speak more than one language this is a great thing. Brian.
