Alain Prost is a French racing driver. He retired from Grand Prix racing at the end of 1993 after becoming Formula One World Champion for the fourth time. Only Juan Manuel Fangio and Michael Schumacher have won more Formula One World Drivers' Championship titles. From 1987 until 2001 Prost held the record for most Grand Prix victories.
