William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States, serving from 1993 to 2001. Clinton served five terms as the Governor of Arkansas. Generally regarded as a centrist, and a member of the moderate New Democrat wing of the Democratic Party, he headed the centrist outfit Democratic Leadership Council in 1990 and 1991.
