(Born Feb. 05, 1969) One of the top R&B stars of the late 80's and early 90's, Bobby Brown has been credited by many as being the most significant figure in popularizing new jack swing, which combines soul, urban funk, and hip-hop. After leaving New Edition in 1986, Brown went on to great success as a solo artist with hits like "My Prerogative", "Every Little Step", and "Humpin' Around".
