Carlos Irwin Estevez, whose stage name is Charlie Sheen, is an American actor. Sheen's film career began in 1984, and his first major role was in Platoon (1986). In 1987, he starred with his father, Martin, in Wall Street. He has recently played the lead role in the political television sitcom, Spin City (as Michael J Fox's replacement on that show). He now plays the role of Charlie on the sitcom Two and a Half Men, which debuted in 2003.
