Earl Holliman

(Born September 11, 1928)

Earl Holliman is a 1957 recipient of the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in any Motion Picture for his work in the 1956 film, "The Rainmaker". A prolific character actor between 1952 and 2000, he often appeared in several westerns and dramas in his long illustrious career. He is perhaps best known for playing Sgt. Bill Crowley opposite Angie Dickinson in the 1970s sitcom "Police Woman" as well as being in his own series "Hotel De Paree" and "Wide Country" during the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was also in the premier episode of Rod Serling's "The Twilight Zone" entitled, "Where is Everybody?".
