Ian Somerhalder is an American actor, former male fashion model and producer. His first major role was in The Rules of Attraction. He was a main cast member for the first season of the American television series Lost as the character Boone Carlyle. His television work also includes appearances in shows such as Smallville, CSI: Miami, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Now and Again, and The Big Easy, as well as producing Recess.
