Jim Broadbent is an Academy Award-winning English theatre, film and television actor. In 2001, Broadbent starred in three of the year's most successful films: Bridget Jones' Diary (2001), Moulin Rouge! (2001), for which he won a BAFTA and Iris (2001), for which he won an Oscar for his portrayal of John Bayley.
