Born In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he attended the Winchester Thurston Preparatory Day School where he made his stage debut, and performed a role in the senior class production of '1776.' A year after graduation, he competed in open auditions and won the role of Leather Apron in the 1972 feature film adaptation of the same play, in which he was noted for his part in the song, 'Momma Look Sharp,' but was uncredited in the film. Television roles followed and he appeared in numerous series such as 'The Waltons,' 'Medical Center,' 'Shazam!' 'One Day at a Time' and 'Friendly Fire,' and he voiced Schroeder in the 1973 television movie 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.' He only appeared in two more feature films; 'Thunderbolt and Lightfoot' (1974) and 'Jokes My Folks Never Told Me' (1978). His last significant role was that of Darryl in the 1979 television series, 'The Curse of Dracula.'
