Robert Shaw was an English stage and film actor and writer. He was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role A Man for All Seasons. He was also an accomplished writer as well as a respected actor, adapting his own novel The Man in the Glass Booth for the stage.
