(Born Feb. 10, 1930) Robert Wagner is a popular American film and television actor. In his early days in Hollywood in the 1950s, he was mentored by the movie actor Spencer Tracy. He also starred in three popular American television series that spanned six decades such as, playboy secret agent, Alexander Mundy in the popular 1960s adventure series, It Takes a Thief (1968-1970) with Fred Astaire, before playing Eddie Albert's ex-con man and friendly partner, Det. Pete T. Ryan in the popular 1970s crime drama, Switch (1975-1978), and as Stefanie Powers's super-rich private eye and husband, Jonathan Hart in the immensely-popular 1980s crime drama, Hart to Hart (1979-1984). He also starred in the Austin Powers films in the late 1990s and early 2000's.
