Scott Caan is an American actor. Caan began acting in the late 1990s, appearing in a number of independent and low-budget films. His first appearance in a widely released film was his role as a Texas football player in the financially successful 1999 film, Varsity Blues. Caan subsequently appeared in a number of studio films, including co-starring with David Arquette in Ready To Rumble (2000) and playing 19th century outlaw Cole Younger opposite actor Colin Farrell in American Outlaws (2001).
