Yves Saint-Laurent (1936 - 2008) was a French fashion designer. Among his muses were Loulou de La Falaise, Betty Catroux, Talitha Pol-Getty, and Catherine Deneuve, the iconic French actress. In 2001 he was awarded the rank of Commandeur of the Légion d'honneur by French president Jaques Chirac.
