The light of kindness in his eyes softens his aloofness beautifully. This portrait seems to express, and to remind, that great enigmatic minds have hearts as well.

What is fantastic is that you put so much in it. All I did was look at your artwork and put what I saw, and what I like about it, into words.

You are very kind, Tom. However, I am pretty sure that you would in no way wish to be what I am, which is a high-functioning autist. Though it sounds flattering to have that in common with Marie Curie, Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Mozart, or Darryl Hannah, Anthony Hopkins, Dan Aykroyd and Tim Burton, it is somewhat challenging to be born and to live with a different kind of brain. However, the certainty that I'll never (despite many efforts and as many failures) be what others want me to be, and simply be my "weird" self, is very reassuring.
