Très belle expression là aussi. J'aurais noirci les cheveux...car Gérard, c'est le beau brun romantique...un de mes princes charmants d'enfance.

Merci beaucoup , Framy, c est très gentil! Je suis encore tres timide , et noircir me demande une certaine témérité, car je crains de tout gâcher avec la chevelure, que je fais toujours en dernier lieu.

To me, risk is a fundamental part of what makes it art. But besides that, taking risk helps you to grow. Of course, there's a chance you ruin a picture by taking the risk, but there is also a chance you make it better, and even more importantly a chance that you learn some things from it that makes your future artworks better. You don't need to go overboard with risk, but if you are too shy then you risk lowering the quality of your future works. So, not taking a risk is sometimes a bigger risk than it is to take the risk! So that's some philosophy for you. I like this portrait, too, by the way. I think you improved a lot since you started.
