yes our friend Jeanette will love him, it is a very beautiful dedication and a very beautiful portrait that you have drawn for Jeanette, congratulations again my great friend Christine
Okay you have to experiment a lot. I have been drawing for thirty years and I am not where I want to be yet. Don't forget about graphite powder, charcoal, for the deep blacks and a nice spongy eracer for the highlights. Think newtral then do highlights and deep shadows. Don't try to be too realistic if people want a photo let them get one taken. Just have fun and do experimet. You may find another medium you excel in don't be afraid to try everything!!!
WOW CHRISTINE! How can I ever thank you for doing this portrait and dedicating it to me?? Thank you so much. You did a fabulous job and I absolutely love it!! Bravo my sweet friend.
Wow Christine, this is magnificent. What a tribute indeed!!! Here's he's just a grizzled old Teddy bear, with very, very shiny eyes (caught so magnificently by you) ... what a life he had.
Like it? ... I love it!!! I don't really know the history of Ted Kennedy (besides some shadiness in his youth) ... but I would be very interested to read his biography - there's bound to be another one hitting the press in a very short time. I would love to get to know more about the goodness in his life, because it's the goodness that really makes a man, the shadiness must be overruled - we all make mistakes afterall. Goodness, my own life has been one big bundle of dumb mistakes (especially in rotten decision making )!!!
I think that in his youth he was quite wild and he did drink alcohol an was not always wise in that time. But the fact that he divoted his life pretty much to public improvement in government I think he was a very interesting and activist member of his renound family!!!
... Oh weren't and didn't we all?! Back in those hazy, crazy days of summer when brains weren't ticking correctly, body parts were doing strange things, life was an oyster and consequences be damned!!! Sigh - glad those days are over. Nowdays my brain's still not ticking right, my body parts need replacing, the world's a catfish and I'm paying the consequences of past actions.
So much to forgive, I'm afraid, my sweet friend Christine. Well, looking up - if it weren't for all my mistakes and having to dodge all the shit ricochetting off the fan - I wouldn't be where I am now. Oh my goodness, where am I????
The alternative is inevitable and not so scary as I thought it may be - the scary bit is oldage and senility. - Let us all remain forever young, though wise and filled with wanderlust until we cross over to the other side. May we never sit still, may the desire in our hearts live forever and may passion continue to flow through our veins.
Amen to that Jean. But if I am senile I won't know when I fade into the other dimention so in a way it may be an easier transition but not for at least another thirty or fourty years if I am lucky I am now 62 years old so that would be a good thing I think!!!!
Thanks Majka glad you like this portrait of Ted!!!
