But wow, I'm surprised about how fast you comment on the JB portraits. I'm always happy to hear from you! Cool, you have the dvd...I still haven't purchased it - I think I put it on my x-mas-gift-wish-list.

ADDITIONAL INFO about the whole picture: The poem is called "To music" (original title: "An die Musik") by the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke. As it is my favourite poem about music and one of Jeff's favourite poets, I decided to make this picture. I used brown watercolours, ink, a black marker, coloured pencils and...fire.

och, ich experimentier halt gern so rum... ne, vielleicht liegt's daran, dass mich viele verschiedene Dinge interessieren/inspirieren.

finde das voll schön. Siehste sowas kann ich nicht. Ich hab zwar auch schon rumexperimentiert, aber nie so erfolgreich wie du . Ich bleib irgendwie grad bei meinem stil hängen, was aber auch gut ist. Du hast es voll drauf

Oh danke... freut mich echt, dass es dir gefällt! Naja, ein paar meiner Versuche, was Neues auszuprobieren, gingen auch mal in die Hose bzw. in die Mülltonne! Das passiert meistens, wenn ich zu ungeduldig werde oder mit Pinseln male (was mir gar nicht liegt! ). Und bei diesem hier, hätte ich's fast nach dem Schreiben mit dem Füller weg geschmissen. Ich versuch dann aber trotzdem immer noch, das Bild irgendwie zu retten, damit nich alles umsonst war! Vielleicht könntest du als nächstes, mal ein Kuli-Portrait machen. Das würde zu deinem groben-in-holz-geritzten Stil passen!
