Techniques mixtes

Rilke and Buckley.

The poem is called "To music" (original title: "An die Musik") by the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke.
As it is my favourite poem about music and one of Jeff's favourite poets, I decided to make this picture.

I used brown watercolours, ink, a black marker, coloured pencils and...fire.

Ja, ich hab einfach normales Papier zusammen geknüllt, mit brauner Wasserfarbe bemalt und später ein bisschen platt gebügelt! Das Portrait hab ich zuerst mit Bleistift vorskizziert, dann mit nen Fineliner nachgezeichnet und zum Schluss mit nen goldenen Buntstift ausgemalt.

Du bist doch auch sehr kreativ! Zumindest hast du verschiedene Techniken, wie zB auch Öl und Kohle drauf! Ich kann mit Pinseln (noch) gar nichts Richtiges machen! Ich denke, dass ein Bild allgemein kreativ wirkt, wenn man Techniken vermischt oder Gegensätze darstellt. Ich finde, dass du deine Vielfältigkeit vorallem in deinen ersten Werken gezeigt hast (die Öl- und Pastelbilder)! :ok:

Excellent work, I like the way you have aged the paper and the whole style of your writing, and the drawing is fantastic! How did you get that effect with the paper? did you use a watercolour wash and screw the paper up to wrinkle it? :clap:
