Thanks, Jeanz. I wouldn't say brilliant, though. I am pleased that people recognize her. She is a favorite actress of mine. All of her film work is good.
Merci, Anne-Marie.
c'est un au revoir et non adieu, je te promets de revenir ma grande amie Joyce, you're a wonderful woman, so nice, very talented, a great artist, toutes mes félicitations à nouveau pour ton fantastique chef d'oeuvre, I luv u a lot, pass a great day, take good care of yourself, I embrace you very very strong....Muuuaaahhhh !!!!
Many thanks, dear Anne Marie. I will miss you while you are away, and am looking forward to your return to this site. God Bless.
With much affection,
Joyce
Hey, I am with you! I ADORE her, also. Thanks, Biggs. I am going to be out-or-town this weekend, so I won't be drawing anything new until next week. Joyce
Thanks, Jeanette. Meryl is one of my all time favorites. I wanted to get a good likeness of her. I admire her film work. I'll bet Meryl is a nice lady to know, too.
Again I thank you, Paulo. If there is any talent in my work, God has had a hand in it. I never thought I would be drawing portraits of people, especially at such a late date in my life. I apologize for my tardy reply, but I have been out of town.
Many thanks, Coise.
Thank you so much.
Dessin me donne une «élevé».
GOOD GRACIOUS, CHRISTINE! But thanks for all of those clapping hands. My husband and I went to Ft. Worth, TX this weekend to visit our granddaughter and see our 5 month old great granddaughter for the first time.
Hi Joyce, i am sitting here with my mom and she said: This is a compliment to Meryl Streep! in other words, you should REALLY be chuffed, because my mom is not a big movie fan, but Meryl is one of her favs A big hallo from my mom, Anne and me!
Thanks, Biggs. Please tell your mom "thanks," too. Tell her also, that I think she is still a beautiful woman...just as she was beautiful in her younger days in the photo you sent to me.
Hi dearest Joyce! Its monday morning and the weekend just flew past!!! Aaaah i will tell my mom, she was so excited to see all your beautiful work and she is so impressed that you don't let the internet intimidate you! I think you got another fan! Well i have a zillion mails to answer, and you send me some great pix again! Big fat Hugs, will get there soon and send you next mail.... a shorter one so you don't have to stay up all night again!
Hi Joyce, i send it to you this morning, this time with foto's of our Entrance Hall, before and after looks.. and i am ashamed to say, my hubby had not have the time to look into your attachment yet, he is usually so tired coming home in the evenings, so i did not want to ask him... sorry.. but will ask him, promise!
Don't bother your husband. The attachment isn't that interesting. I was just trying an experiment, to see if there were other ways I could send you e-mails. MS office allows me to do some interesting things with photos that I can not do otherwise. Other than that, it is not as easy to use as regular e-mail. Got your e-mail with the fine photos this morning. Thanks. Will write later today.
Yes, technology is marvelous, when it works, isn't it? Oh, I forgot something. I will slso buy the DVD video of LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, and while I am at it, DR. ZHIVAGO
Yes when it works, you are so right! WOW shopping DVDs, that must be fun with you! The classics i have is "Out of Africa", while i was in germany i bought it and always cried like a baby, missing Africa.... i have some others, but not the real oooold classics.... yet...
oh and i forgot, i have "Breakfast at Tiffany's" as well.... did some serious DVD shopping today... they are so expensive here, but there was a SALE on and ofcourse i could not resist... i am so tired now, i thank you for your mail and beautiful photos, i will answer you tomorrow my dear friend! My bed is calling out: BIIIIIIIGGGS!! HAAHAHA MWUAH
That's a good one. I always liked My Fair Lady, too. I used to have a lot of these movies on tape, but haven't replaced them on DVD's. No apologies are necessary. You needn't write every day.
Aaaaaaaaah, same goes to you too, sweetheart... but i DO ENJOY hearing from you daily! oh i saw the My Fair Lady and thought, should i or shouldn't i... i am a bit cautious about getting some of the classics, cause Wolf is not into them and i want to get my collection going with movies that Wolf would enjoy too.... but if its still there next time... HA i am getting it!... oops, will first have to see how much it costs though! Went a bit overboard yesterday...
Well then, if your movie collection does not yet include Lawrence of Arabia, then you should get it. Wolf would certainly like it, and I think you would, also. It is supposed to be one of Hollywood's top 10 movies. As for My Fair Lady, Audrey Hepburn is great in the role of a street, flower selling, Cockney girl, whom Rex Harrison turns into a lady. Harrison does this in order to win a bet and prove that he can pick any girl off the street and transform her speech and manners into what society views as socially acceptable.
i must remember that, next i go, i must have a lookout for the Arabian Lawrence! Oh i wonder if i would understand that heavy cockney accent.... my sis will defnetly, she is a HUGE Audrey Hepburn fan...
