Good, eyes, eyes, eyes they are called the windows of the soul. Well they have to be right, the rest of your drawing is very good. You must learn to shade eyes with pupil and iris also eye upper lids and lower eye brows, every eye has a little red or pink part which the tear duct is in but the eye should have shadow in it a top eyelid and lower eyelid. Positioning the eye to the right that much, make it look unreal. Please don't write on the front of a drawing place it on the back with the date and number of drawing. Why it looks very Naff. Your signature is Ok where it is. The Background should be a help to the shading put a little on either side darker on one side will make the face lighter. The likeness is OK. The rest of the drawing is very good and shows talent. A tip is if it looks Ok in a mirror as you hold it up then it's generally OK. Your skin tone is great. Brian.

okay, next time i do a drawing like this ill think about what you said, being 13 im still learning and i always apreciate constructive critisism. i admit i dont like this particular drawing but im still learning and always looking for ways to improve, i dont feel comfortable using colours, i like black and white drawings

Ok I love Black and white it does have a strange feeling to it, but the world is in colour I like drawing mono tone work or one colour work art is wonderful because it is like a box of chocolates for choice. Your abilities for 13 are excellent no fear and have a go is the way to go painting and art brings a wonderful life I enjoy bringing pleasure and wonder to other through my work. My main advise is to study the face and how it is made up I have a little question where is the fulcrum of the face. Look to see how the eye is made up also why are the lips the way they are. Isn't life wonderful I try to learn something everyday I love life. That's because I'm old and at the end of mine your young and at the beginning. Brian, my nicknames brainfree.
