At long last ... I got me a new digital - and WALLA - I can submit my Elvis. Hope it comes out okeeedokeee 'cause the camera cost more than peanuts. Nice to be submitting again, I guess now it's time to get off my butt and start drawing once more ...

Wow, thanks a tonne for your amazing compliment. The hair was particularly difficulty (ISN'T IT ALWAYS!!!) - beacuse Elvis has jet black hair and it's kinda hard to make it look like hair and not just a black mop sitting on top of his head. :laugh:. Yeah, the interesting part of life is that it IS NOT simple!!! That's where our egos play a part - and end up making us a bunch of miserable lunatics. I gave away all my drawings when I was in my early 20s - and they were not bad drawings - I cry about it now because I would love to improve upon them and I have nothing to base my improvement on. Wouldn't you believe it I watched "Halloween" for the first time in decades 2nite. (I purchased the DVD for a creepy trip down memory lane). Mmmm - a period piece that comes out somewhat pathetic at times (acting wise - Jamie Lee was very inexperienced and it really showed).
