Not Google per se, but yes - translation services. Had a couple years Latin so ... I can guess pretty good, & I've learned a few words in a few languages here! Thought I knew Spanish pretty well (3 yrs. - read Don Quixote etc.) and yet, Marino said: "Fush!" with regard to one of my 'portraits recently.' I don't think the translation devices will know that one! & I don't think it was one of those happy, charming, pleased-as-punch words either. Idioms are wide and deep. And, if you've ever tried to follow the French in a chat??!! Fugeddaboudit!

i am sweating just "listening" to you, talk about latin.... your IQ must be above 500 or something! i speak, understand and read 3 languages fluently... english, german and afrikaans... otherwise only a few basic words in italian, spanish and french... wish though i could speak those 3 languages fluently as well... oh heck, maybe one day, have to put it on my "Bucket List"...
