thank you so much. its quite frustrating though that on the computer it doesnt look as good as it does in real life, you lodse alot of the detail with a photo and even my scanner doesnt pick up all the shading properly.

Excellent, again very good gaze, a good try at light fall to the face just a little difficult with pencil it's easier with paint, Honest, because of the extra tone for the hair and background. I can believe it's better in real life that is why most of the artist scan. as the flash of the photo's take away the light from the white paper. Try a light from a table lamp and switch off the flash it may help if bright enough. Great work of course your photography takes nothing away from your excellent drawing ability and originality.

thank you so so much. im thinking of investing in a new scanner. at the moment mines only A4 and all my drawings are A3 sized .

It is an interstesting thing to deal with I drew and painted before joining the site on A3 now all my work is on A4 I have all my paintings stored under my bed. If you do photo them then try my suggestion of bright light but no flash it will improve them because of the way the flash sucks away the white colour from the paper or add a little background to down the white paper.

I will def give that a try. have done a few more pics this week and already taken pics but will re-take them tomorrow
