Another fine portrait, J.R. As usual, you have applied your talent with masterful skill. The result, another superb portrait. So realistic, it is hard to believe that it was done with pencils. I do not know how you achieved the beard and moustache, but they are remarkably real looking. Well done!

Thanks very much!!! First I scratch the paper with a nail, or something. Then I apply many different layers and shades of graphite. It's a process. The beard & whiskers alone took me about an hour?

Well, whatever process you use, it does work wonders. It is no surprise that this portrait took time for you to do. Most impressive! Portrait is so real looking.
