Awww! What a sweetheart!!! I love novelty, hate following suit, but have no illusions. I wouldn't hire anyone else for the concept, and ... I wouldn't hire ME for the finished art!!! But you're a doll! I'd hire YOU!
Thank you! you're very kind May I ask you (you don't have to answer) if drawing is your career or just a hobby? I think you have an exceptional talent; you can be a famous artist (and designer too!)
I was in advertising for what seemed like a century. I still operate my own small shop & hire freelancers when I need film editors, music composers, etc. I went to art school but in business I was 'creative director' and functioned primarily as a writer. I can do all that stuff kinda-sorta. Everyone who ever worked for me was better than me!! ... 'cause I hired 'em!
yep...it was great fun and I was kinda famous in that limited sphere for a time then when I chucked it to do my own relatively tiny business, they forgot about me pretty quick!! No longer a threat!! I love peaceful ... serene ... let's go for a sail
Me neither!! I used to get nervous if I had to speak in front of a large group. But I overcame it by always wearing a slight smile on my face! Now .... I don't care anymore!!! As for sailing, I couldn't match your Mediterranean, but The Intercoastal Waterway is safe and fairly easy from Maryland to Florida!! Every two days or so, you stop and pick up ice, wine, fresh vegetables, and.... maybe ... basil! ... we need basil. Do you know leprice99 from Morocco? (He's on Stars)
hi Nihale I know! He is remarkably good for his age!! He sent me an e-mail & I thought perhaps you were classmates. BTW ... your new avatar is --- a knockout!!
Hi John! do you believe he's 4 years old? look at his photo on his blog... As for my avatar, thank you very much! glad you like it; this photo of me was taken 2 years ago
Usually we do it up pretty big but this year I had too much work and couldn't put any time into it. As it turned out, it was no great loss ... it's raining here O well
Already raining? it's still summer in Morocco; well weather is very changeable here... We don't celebrate Halloween (many people here don't even know what it is, I knew about it by watching cartoons when I was a kid) but everyone on Stars portraits was wishing me happy Halloween and so I did; it must be very exciting!
Halloween is the most Crazy-Mixed-Up Holiday we have. As to making any sense of it or trying to explain ... it's best to simply think of it as a very good excuse for a party! Yay!!
Me too! I actually got enlisted to carve an elaborate pumpkin for a wedding this Oct 31st (!!) so ... no time to carve any others this year Last year I did a cool Ray Charles, Frankenstein etc. They're fun to do!
On its heels - on it's @$$ laughing, on its high horse in disgust, on its phone to the authorities AND --- I'm so upset!!! I feel the same way when I see a precious, almost-good painting of a saccharine subject!
I was thinking Michael as a Thriller zombie that moves from crouch to upright - as kids approach - and the sheep .... they go 'baaaaaaa' I won't need any actual candy 'til about 10pm when the gangbangers show up It all depends on your neighborhood everywhere doesn't it!
'Course you'd need several small motors, an electric eye, considerable wiring, purple bee smoke, and a good sound system to make this freak the little darlings out.
I survived Halloween but I had to eat almost all the candy myself! There were just a couple of kids banging on the door, so.....Halloween is not a big weekend in Sweden. Unfortunately. I´d looove to scare some kids off!
