Excellent, outstanding and remarkable portrait Christine!! and in color too! What a treat for me. I love your colored portraits! You did a wonderful job! Bravo my friend!!
I get my inspiration from you dear Jeanette I just love your color pieces as well. thanks for always being there and thanks for all your wonderful e-mails I really look forward to hearing from you !!!
Hi Marino getting closer to my hand operation today I tried this in color the pastels are a bit easier to handle. I did use some colored pencils but a lot of it was in chalk so it was easier to blend.
Yes and I get some time off work to rest as well. I am working on a design for my company they are celebrating 100 years in business so while off I will be painting a poster for my boss. Hope it turns out well!!!
Hi friend I am still plugging away with the graphic design for the 100 years poster. My friend from work Ruth has designed a fantastic lay out. She uses Printshop 1.5 and it looks much easier to use than photoshop2. The only bad thing is it has changed and she really likes that version. Do you know about that software?
the best layout program I know is Adobe illustrator and I work also with photoshop CS3(9 version) I saw the print shop. I think it is rudimentary compare to illustrator or Corel Draw(it is different with Corel painter).
Would Adobe Illustrator be a good one to make books with. I need to be able to intigrate my writings with the graphics. I need something easy since I am basically dyslexic. Remember you are dealing with someone who has big trouble with any kind of diagrams maps and symbols like in music notes etc.
Shahin on this picture I see that the hair is still not great. I am thinking of changing to an illustration board and doing more painting of the hair to make it smoother and less drawn looking. I will be trying to use poster paint with my pastels for skin tones I may underpaint the flesh tones and then come in with the pastel and colored pencil. Still struggling but getting closer!!!
If you think Corel Painter is the easiest I will check into it. Remember I want to make childrens books that would be my main reason for getting a new software I can try to learn to use layers in my Photoshop2.
Adobe Illustrator is a professional page layout and illustration program. for book creation Adobe has another product: In design. any way for simple page layout you can use Photoshop itself! it has text and vector tools and you can apply nice effects to the objects you create with them.
Thanks Shahin I think I will first read the book for Photoshop2 and try to learn using layers in that software. I may then decide between the Adobe Illustrator pro or the Corel Painter. I will study both.
aww , she is like a princess , dressed in pink and that necklace is so fancy !
she is holding that necklace very interestingly too
also i love her hair , very beautiful !
you do eyes and lips so well too and they look so real
skin tone and shading is also perfect , very beautiful !
Hard to get the right colors on the scanner especially with pastels. The original is much more subtle and can't show up as nice as the real work. But this is close. Thanks again and keep creating dear!!
