Very Good, you have the dark side of drawing with excellent shadow and are I hope thinking how do I show the light side of a face or blond hair to it's beautiful side well it's all to do with background or framing your face this is where you use the outer colour or tone to make the inner tone look lighter. It's all in the inner mind or subconscious try putting some of that excellent darkness into the background when you see that you can play with the effect it will make sense. Well done I can see the talent in your work.
