  I just love David with wild hair and a slight stubble.

This is a drawing for David Bowie's birthday...a week early...

I started this weeks ago because i am going away in a few days, so i won't be around on the 8th January. I was intending to space this one out over weeks until the day i leave, but i've been so obsessed with drawing it these past couple of days, i've managed to complete it way earlier than planned. The scan really doesn't do the picture justice, for some reason the scan came out really grainy. The drawing itself is actually quite smooth looking.

The shadow of the microphone on his neck bugs me, but nevermind.

A4 paper, 0.7 mechanical pencil, 8B graphite pencil, tissue and eye-shadow applicator thingy for blending, rubber
