Hey missy, always study how the light falls on the hair, its hard to see everything when you first start drawing. But a portrait artist must look at everything a thousand times more than she or he actually draws. Also, use a few different b pencils, ranging from 2b through to 8b. Hope this helps you.
hi ! nice drawing ! to improve the hair you should try to draw a few darker lines to give a bit of energy and movement in it, curvy lines to shape strands of hair. I love drawing hair, you can have a look at my gallery and do not hesitate to ask any question ! I hope this will help you !
