Good, your searching for the look or the pose. The way I look at this as a painting is the face, collar neck all very good. The shoulder and body is a muddle, for me the head should take up 2/3 of paper. A tip with faces is only draw what you want others to look at, blur things you don’t . I tend to paint half faces, to show that likeness is not a whole face but parts of faces. You will be a talented drawer soon don't give up. Feel free to come and see my work.

Yes, I definitely thing you've improved. My main tip is don't draw every detail, just what catchs the eye. My favourite painter Edgar Degas. He said 'art is not what you see, but what you make others see'!
