I love the contrast and the clean lines used here. Great work! Can you please tell me how you have scanned in the work and what type of pencil did you use for the dark top on her? Thanks in advance. daisie

Hi daisie ! Thank you very much !!

For all my drawings I used different grafit pencil from 5H to 8B. I draw this portrait a long time ago and I didn't know "pierre noire" but for sure if I should do it again I will use it !! Here it's just an 8B. I think all the pencil was used !!! Does it help you ? It is really interesting to know which technic use the others. It's when I saw Rachel's drawings that I decide to try fusain. :hi:

Sorry daisie I don't know the word in english for "pierre noire" ; "fusain" is charcoal.
