GREAT Mike I remember this book very well, my second SK book after Christine, it was so scary, the time it was not a good idea to read a SK novel before bed. There was this vampire, Barlow and another guy, Striker I think he was, and that house on the hill... You made me want to read it again

That's awesome, thank you, Fabio. I remember the TV mini-series from the late1970s. I was about 13 and had the liver scared out of me! Reggie Nadler played Barlow and he was the ugliest vampire ever filmed. Nadler was a great character actor famous for playing villains.

You're welcome I think I've seen the series, but not satisfied with it (as always when coming to compare books-movie) I also saw the miniseries of Shining, ten thousands times better than Kubrik's movie, at least it followed the book I've seen Carrie too my favourite is the first And Pet Sematary, another great movie and book Completely disappointed by 'the mangler'
