Oh, and I meant to guess...since not enough is visible to determine...obviously Gibson, 6 string flattop natural finish, too small for a Hummingbird or Dove...so, I'm going with a B-25. Yes? No? PS...not a guitar nut or anything...just chatting.
Oh yeah, now that you tell me, I guess I saw it scrolling past one of your conversations with Chris. I can't play a classical for squat...have to be able to...I dunno...choke it I am a Dylan fan...working on yet another one soon.
My artist friend is not an endearing girl. Pretty condescending. Her work sells for 10K and more. I guess when the curators start calling you, you get haughty. Not nasty...just a little pity creeps into her voice when "pencil" comes up.
I adore classical guitar music. But I don't play it. I play rock and folk. 10k! I doubt I could ever sell my art for that much. Or dare too. No one would buy it.
Me too...rock, folk, ragtime...blues... bluegrass banjo...none well enough to do anything with...but starve ! And yes, 10K is hard to fathom for me! Her canvasses are often 16 feet long x 6 to 8 tall...with hinges so that they can fold and fit around corners and in elevators. It's another world.
I noticed that about you buckleysoreal!
You did a good job on Jeff's SG & thanks - my reference was cut off, so I made up the top part of the headstock. I've got about a dozen guitars but no Martin like this
You're welcome!
So you already noticed that.. You almost can't avoid the guitar when making a Buckley portrait.
I also had to make up this part of the guitar in my latest JB portrait but I forgot some parts which I don't even know how to call. I mean those things on the side for adjusting the strings...
