It took and age to set out and draw then to bring all the peices together to paint. Yes that me! My favourite painteri Degas. He said 'art is not what you see, but what you make others see'!
I like all french artists of that era, most of all Degas a great user of pastles and Lautrec, he was a great painter and illustrator. It took longer to plan my effort than to paint.

I think it's great putting yourself in the painting that way.
I have a photo of myself showing a waxwork Charlie Chaplin my camcorder - I have been thinking of drawing that & putting it on here. I prefer your way though of yourself actually painting. Great!!
