I feel I should say something about her neck - the way the skin has gathered is really odd, but that's how it is in the reference image (which is from the book "Images of Movie Stars"). Her mouth and eyes looked correct in the drawing, but in the scan they really aren't. Argh. And the diamonds aren't sparkly enough. Drawing this was really disjointed, so I don't really know how long it took me. It's also drawn on the wrong side of the paper. Gah.
- 4B Derwent Sketching pencil
- 8B Mars Lumograph pencil
- Eye shadow applicators
- Kneadable eraser
- A4 paper
And a bit of trivia - the diamond earrings and necklace she's wearing were stolen! Hope you like anyway!
I would have smoothed out the neck she isn't that old here. I do tend to make people look better than the photo. I figure you go to an artist to have a good picture of yourself if you want accuracy take a photo. Most people like to see themselves in a really good light since they won't be having a lot of portraits drawn of them.
Nice to meet you by the way!!!!
