Thank you, Although I will try to answer any questions from others or will advise anyone, I paint only for myself. Websites and tutorials I leave to others more qualified than me. I now a lot of tips and techniques, some I have learnt from other artists and some I have invented myself. I did the 4 pose painting to show the flow of work. I hate people making money out of others with things that should be free. :) :*z:

Do you use a wet paper when you start? I'm very interested in watercolours and I have used watercolour pencils some times, but I haven't had time to try them on portraits..Should I start with watercolour pencils or just original watercolours? :)

Ok by it's name a wash is a wet area. But not soaking a controled wetness. First apply the clean water evenly, if possible, then mix a water paint solution up and place onto paper this will give many varing effects, the thing is to remember the good ones, play first before using on a portrait. W/C pencils, Both is the easy answer, I have used w/c pencils to set out a drawing or now a brush, any ordinary brush not a pencil of any kind ( in japanese style). :) :8)
