Good, He's there! why just use black high light in black marker. Try drawing with a white W/C pencil the other side. I have used a tipex white for eye pupils shine, if you show dark contrast you must show light contrast it will improve your technique, try it on a practise piece. I will do a white, grey and black painting hopefully to show what I'm saying. It will probably be terrible. I hope you don’t mind me poking my nose in only I can’t patronise you, I did what your doing for 10 years and it was a dead end for me.
