I said this is a great picture & that is what it is. The praise was for you as an artist - not for Justin as a mega star. Some of his songs are OK, but I am not a fan of his & I don't fancy him with or without his stubbly chin. My husband started to grow a beard earlier this year, the more it grew, the greyer it looked, he didn't like that & shaved it off (of his own accord - not mine) I'd rather look at your paintings than listen to Justin singing (sorry Justin & any Justin fans reading this) - but we all have different taste, how boring the world would be if we didn't!

Thank you, Ok difficult but not impossible. First using light grey acrylic paint paint an underwash beard. Then wait to dry 10 minutes paint in a layer of darker grey acrylic sparsly. again wait to dry. The paint in a white strokes and after black both watercolour. The I covered it with Gouache light grey from the lower face to the other side, it sound difficult but is very easy. I'm painting a beard now as I'm answering your querry to pass the 10 minutes drying time.
